Newly Wed Diary of a Witch
Wendy Blanchett is a prodigy witch with a dilemma. Up and coming wizard, Aiden Winters asks her to marry him after a night of depressed passion. He seems sweet enough, but there is definitely something Aiden is hiding. I love a good romance, and while the relationship seems honest enough Aiden does seem to possess a special kind of magic that can affect another person’s psyche. From what we know thus far in the comic, it hasn’t been used on Wendy, that we know of and she is blossoming in the relationship. I’m curious to see what happens in the next chapter – maybe a back story for Aiden?

Jaeho has dreams of becoming a florist – and be taken seriously! Unfortunately, his father strongly disapproves and pushes him to be an MMA fighter. His path becomes clear when he hears about this new virtual reality game, New World, where he begins his path on being the florist he knows he can be. There seems to be so much more under the surface of what seems to be a simple VR RPG (virtual reality role-playing game). Unlike me in The Witcher 3, Jaeho has managed to befriend all the threats in this dangerous forest and unlocked an amazing sidequest on his path of creating a flower shop.

When a mix-up at a temp job has her spending a day as famous actor Doyun Nam’s personal assistant, she takes her anger out on a doll… which turns out to have the magical ability to control him at her every whim. Now it’s her turn to be the boss.”
There is something about seeing myself so accurately portrayed in this comic (and the following) that makes it all the sweeter. Ji-eon is broke, overworked, and stressed. During one of her temp jobs, a mix-up happens causing her to spend her whole day as actor Doyun Nam’s assistant, causing her to leave with LESS money she came in with and NO money left. Rightfully frustrated, she takes all her anger out on a magical doll? This doll gives her full control over Nam in a turn of sweet justice. If only I could rage at all my past managers and make them give me money…

Taste of Illness
So far, this dark comic is telling us the story of a life in grade school with anxiety. If that is overwhelming to you, it’s best to avoid this. A “monster” is attached to Yijun. Being a loner in a new class is hard enough, but when you’re deemed a social outcast doesn’t quite make it better. The black ooze that grips Yijun, swallows him in anytime he gets anxious, like a panic attack, but no one can see it or the cute little friends it comes with. I hope our anxious protagonist is able to find some connection or friendship as the comic progresses, and that we see the root cause of his anxiety.
