In the aftermath of a long hiatus, I am proud to say that I will be making the trek to Anime NYC!
Disclaimer
This post and website is in no way affiliated with Anime NYC or Crunchyroll. All thoughts and tears are mine, and mine alone.
Needless to say, I have neglected such a wonderful intention of mine, but there are a lot of moving pieces as well as a lot of reflections moving forward. This post, however, is not about that. It’s about path to Anime NYC and the panels I believe you should look out for.
Of course, there are panels and meet and greets that are available and deserve full attention that will probably skipped out halfway in the name of “FOMO”. Due to travelling, I won’t be able to fully experience the entire weekend, but Saturday has deemed itself worthy to make me mentally, physically, and emotionally drained.
Some key features on my radar are the creators of the summer anime Dr. Stone, Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi, creator and director of Gundam, Yoshiyuki Tomino, and screenwriter Ichiro Okouchi, who has a substatial amount of works (that just so happen to be my favorites) including, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Azumanga Daioh, and Devilman CRYBABY.
My schedule begins at 11 am and ends at 10 pm; completely filled with industry panels, presentations, special showings and gifts. Insights and recommendations from people who have perfected their craft. This week has been a mental preparation for the first and biggest con I have ever attended and I am thrilled to be able to share any hidden gems that I can.
Saturday’s Schedule:
