Thank you Titan-Manga for Advance review copy of these manga
Isekai Metaller

I don’t think I have even entered the world of isekai manga or anime or even metal, so this was such a fun read. Isekai is so funny in that these people come from traumatic experiences, are thrown into a new world, and they just take it in stride. I fell in love with the artwork and loved how Alexi and his presence are such a stark difference from his environment. You have this heavy metal guy in a world of fantasy, building his group to fulfill his dream of bringing world peace through the power of metal.
In the first few pages, I was made aware of just how many different types of metal there are – did you know there are over 50 types of metal? I love it when manga slips in little facts that I can go down a rabbit hole. It also name-drops a few guitarists, nay guitar legends, and mentions just how iconic those people are.
The story shows just how powerful Alexi and his guitar are in his goal of bringing world peace in more ways than one. He is really taking in the new world he is in and making such an impact with the characters already. Each problem they face is handled gracefully by the power of metal. If there is one thing I cannot stress enough, it is that I have one hundred percent faith that metal might cure all of our problems, just by the determination in Alexi’s eyes.
The Raven Dark Hero: From White Knight to Villain

Imagine finding out the thing you spent your whole life wanting to be a part of was the opposite of what you thought. What if the good guys were all jerks? This manga is what happens when your purpose becomes reignited after nearly admitting defeat.
Suou’s life doesn’t seem to be an easy one, and the “good news” only seems to pile up for him, until the bad suddenly turns to surprise and he takes matters into his own hands. Honestly, this story didn’t have my full attention until it did. After a huge turn in the story, I was hooked and left wanting more. The characters and their own unique powers build a world around how it all came to be. If I could spare one thing about this story that won’t tell it all, I would say this is Midoriya if he crashed out in My Hero Academia and Vigilantes.
I’m excited to read more from both these series. If you want to grab these, Isekai Metaller is out now, and you can pre-order The Dark Raven Hero!
