Fall Anime Picks

Salam everyone! The Fall season is coming soon and I’m excited to continue and start some new anime! As you may know, the Fall season is bringing so many bangers such as Bleach, Spy Family season 2, My Hero Academia season 6, Chainsaw man, and more, but in this article I am going to highlight some anime that may not be getting as much love. So here are some of my Fall picks. I also have just started medical school, so catching up with all of this anime will be a struggle, but I will try my best. Please enjoy!

Blue Lock

Airs October 8th on Crunchyroll

I have been hearing about the anime for a while and all of the manga readers have been telling me that this is great. I haven’t watched a sports anime in a while, especially one about soccer so I decided to look into it. I started reading the manga and I was immediately hooked. This took me back to when I used to play soccer and how in every game I played I still valued teamwork, but I always wanted to score a goal! I’m excited to see what will happen!

Synopsis

After a disastrous defeat at the 2018 World Cup, Japan’s team struggles to regroup. But what’s missing? An absolute Ace Striker, who can guide them to the win. The Football Association is hell-bent on creating a striker who hungers for goals and thirsts for victory, and who can be the decisive instrument in turning around a losing match…and to do so, they’ve gathered 300 of Japan’s best and brightest youth players. Who will emerge to lead the team…and will they be able to out-muscle and out-ego everyone who stands in their way?

To Your Eternity Season 2

Airs Oct 23rd on Crunchyroll

I hope this season isn’t as sad as the first one. I hope Fushi can find happiness again after losing so much in the cruel world he lives in. Even though this anime is very sad, I still recommend it. All of the characters Fushi meets are wonderful and have let him grow into his own person.I can’t wait to see what’s next in his journey!

Synopsis

Dropped from the hand of a mysterious being, a lone orb begins a journey of discovery. With the power to imitate both living and non-living things, it can take the form of objects, animals, and people it meets along the way. Gaining consciousness, emotions, and eventually the name Fushi, the immortal creature learns both the beauty and suffering the world has to offer. But humanity is in great peril from powerful beings called the Nokkers, who Fushi alone is able to defeat. Can he protect a world he is still struggling to understand from enemies with the ability to steal everything Fushi has painstakingly gained so far?

Mob Psycho 100 Season 3

Mob Psycho 100 is coming back after a long hiatus! If you haven’t started watching this, please do! This anime has one of the best animation scenes you’ll ever see!! The anime can also be very serious or hilarious at the same time. Will Mob find out if Arataka is a scam? I can’t wait to see.

Synopsis

Kageyama Shigeo, a.k.a. “Mob,” is a boy who has trouble expressing himself, but who happens to be a powerful esper. Mob is determined to live a normal life and keeps his ESP suppressed, but when his emotions surge to a level of 100%, something terrible happens to him! Reincarnated as a Sword

Airs October 5th

I just heard about this anime recently from watching the trailer and I am already loving it! I like that this isekai has a female lead and I like shows where humans can be made into inanimate objects like swords. I started reading the manga and it’s already gruesome already. I can’t wait to see where this will go!

Synopsis

Reincarnated as a sentient weapon with memories of his past life, but not his name, a magical sword saves a young beastgirl from a life of slavery. Fran, the cat-eared girl, becomes his wielder, and wants only to grow stronger, while the sword wants to know why he is here. Together, the strange duo’s journey has only just begun!

Urusei Yatsura (2022)

Airs October 13th

This anime is a remake of the original that came out in the 80s. It is created by Rumiko Takahashi, who’s one of my favorite mangakas. This manga has won many manga awards so I know this anime will be good. I also love the animation which has an 80s aesthetic but also looks modern. After recently finishing Inuyasha, I can’t to watch another one of Takahashi’s works!

Synopsis

In the series, Ataru Moroboshi’s supernatural encounters with the feminine kind all start when he’s chosen to play tag with an alien princess named Lum who invades the earth on her UFO. Ataru has ten days to touch Lum’s horns or aliens will take over the earth! As it turns out, the game of tag is only the beginning of Ataru’s troubles, as he continues to attract strange encounters with otherworldly beings like beautiful snow spirit Oyuki and the sexy crow goblin Princess Kurama!
